Parents Night Out - May 18th
Beckford Charter for Enriched Studies and the YMCA are together organizing a PARENTS’ NIGHT OUT. The event will take place on Friday, May 18, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:30 P.M. The cost is $15 for the first child, and siblings ages 4 and older are permitted to attend at the discounted price of $10 each. Make plans now to enjoy a night out to yourselves! But don’t worry; the kids will have a great night too with fun filled activities in the school auditorium. Some activities include Arts & Crafts, indoor games, and storytelling. The cost also includes dinner for the kids (pizza and a drink). Spaces are limited to the first 60 kids who return the bottom portion of this flyer to the YMCA box in the school office along with the cost by May 16th. Don’t wait! Sign up now!

The Nobel Middle School Theater Arts Department presents SEUSSICAL THE MUSICAL! Based on the creative imagination of Dr. Seuss, SEUSSICAL is a fantastical, magical, musical extravaganza! This show brings to life all of our favorite Dr. Seuss characters, including Horton the Elephant, The Cat in the Hat, Gertrude McFuzz, lazy Mayzie, and a little boy with a big imagination--Jojo. "Oh, the Thinks You Can Think" captures the show's spirit of imagination, as the colorful characters transport us from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus to the invisible world of the Whos.
Bring the entire family to see SEUSSICAL at Nobel Middle School. Show times are May 31, June 1, and June 2 at 6:30 pm with a special Saturday matinee on June 2nd at 2 pm. This is a fundraising performance; donations will be accepted at the door. Don’t miss this magical and colorful production of SEUSSICAL in the MPR at Nobel Middle School, 9950 Tampa Avenue, Northridge.
