Pumpkin Carving Contest Rules
  • Pumpkins must come pre-carved and/or decorated pumpkins only!
  • Pumpkins need to be able to be transferred.
  • Make sure it has your student’s name, teacher & room number and which category you are entering (spookiest, cutest, or most original).
  • Drop off your pumpkin on Friday, 10/29, at your student's drop off gate before school.
Costume Rules & Guidelines

The purpose of the DRESSING UP FOR HALLOWEEN is to have fun and to create spirit in the school. Students who wish to participate must be dressed in appropriate costumes, costumes that are creative, costumes that are in good taste, costumes that do not hurt or bring embarrassment to the school, parents or the student.

  • Costumes may not have parts that interfere with learning. This means no masks or costumes that restrict movement or vision, prevent sitting at desks, or prevent participation in physical education class. School Staff can not help change the children.
  • Costumes may not be violent or suggestive.
  • Costumes may not promote violence or have accessories or props that could be used as a weapon.
  • Make-up or face-paints are permitted.
  • Appropriate shoes must be worn, etc.
  • Costume Masks are not permitted. You must be able to sit, walk, breathe, see and hear.
  • Costumes cannot promote use of drugs, alcohol or weapons of any kind.
  • No pretend "prop" weapons such as water pistols, knives or swords.
  • All school rules will be enforced (i.e., no bikes, skateboards, roller blades, etc.).
  • Costumes may not be offensive or inappropriate in any way.
  • Students should not wear costumes that make fun of others or make others feel uncomfortable.
